hi guys, i’ve recently had my 21.5 inch 2011 imac (i5 2400s, 8gb ddr3, 120gb ssd) running MacOS Big Sur through OCLP. my only issue was that i had to set up WiFi and ethernet with a manual ip address, gateway, and all the other ipv4 settings. otherwise it would tell me that i had a self-assigned IP and nothing would work. Today i tried updating to Sonoma, got it running fine, but whenever i try to connect to a WiFi network it would tell me the network has become unavailable. I researched this, and obviously found out that apple dropped support for this in Sonoma, so i’ve gone back one version to Ventura, however i’m still getting the same issue, whether i set the addresses manually or with DHCP. Does anyone know why this could be? and further, does anyone have any clue as to why i am unable to use DHCP in any version of Mac OS? Thanks for your time.
