Mac Pro 4,1 OpenCore Failing Restart - Sonoma 14.5

Videos.

Hi all, I just installed MacOS 14.5 on my father's Mac Pro 4,1 and have run into a strange boot issue. When restarting the Mac Pro from within Sonoma I am presented with the prohibitory symbol, suggesting that MacOS is incompatible. However, when I startup the Mac after a complete shutdown it has no problems at all. Has anyone else experienced this? Please see videos linked above for what happens during boot in both scenarios.

It is clear that when restarting, the OpenCore EFI boot is being automatically selected for the boot picker displays a black background. I made sure to hold control and select the OpenCore EFI boot when first starting it up so that the Mac Pro would automatically do so on its own. So I don't think there's a problem there. I should mention that a few days ago I completed the EnableGOP Firmware flash on the Mac Pro. It is absolutely magnificent with the RX 560, but could it be contributing to this odd issue? Please share your insight as I would love to figure it out. Thanks!
