Hi, I seem to be up and running ok with Asus Z790 Prorate, 14700k, 6950 XT red devil. Will post later with details once I confirm all functionality.
For now just trying to figure one thing out. Mac sees the intel controller. Mac Sonoma does not see the Aquantia controller. Hackintool sees it, it is in Ioregistry. Just that it seems Sonoma is not doing anything with it. I haven't used any ethernet related kexts or anything in config as from reading I was under impression it is native, works out of the box.
That said, is one supposed to enable the ForceAquantia quirk? Does me using wifi (on board) perhaps have an effect?
Some other things I did:
drop DMAR table, edited dmar.dsl made dmar.asl
enabled vt-d
set Disable IOMapper to false
Curious if anyone has ideas. I am trying to avoid kexts, etc for now if there is way to get it native.
