Stuck on boot after root patch

Have been running Opencore for a while on an older intel iMac with Fusion Drive now running MacOs 14.3.

Have already gone through several upgrade cycles for opencore and all went well.

On the last upgrade to 1.4.3 the iMac got stuck on Apple logo boot after root patching - about 25% into the boot sequence.

Looked up the issue on the Opencore known issues list and was able to restore the last sealed snapshot which allowed me to reboot BUT now the iMac did not show any WiFi network nor was able to connect if I entered the details in “others”.

I also tried loading 1.4.2 from a thumb drives and install that - all went well until the reboot after root patch which again got stuck.

At this point I’m in a loop I can’t get out of and any tips would be greatly appreciated.
