Recent OCLP/Sonoma upgrade disabled trackpad and keyboard

I have been using OCLP since putting Ventura on my late-2016 MBP (A1707). Yesterday I installed an Apple update to Sonoma (from several weeks ago) which meant that I first updated OCLP. After all was done, I rebooted and now my trackpad and keyboard are not responsive, so I'm unable to login.

I can reboot into safe mode, and I'm able to do a pram reset. Finally, I can boot into recovery mode where both the trackpad and keyboard are responsive and allow me to, say, choose my wifi network and enter the password. I haven't actually tried to do a recovery from the recovery partition, as I suspect that will undo all of the OCLP work.

I am on travel and I do not have an external USB keyboard/mouse to try, but I can run and buy one later today. Can you think of anything else I can try to restore functionality?

Thanks.
