Can macos Sonoma run fine on a 7,1 macbook (Intel core 2 duo)?

I would like to purchase an used macbook with this configuration:

intel core Core 2 Duo, 8gb ram, 256 gb SSD, Catalina.

I suppose that Catalina was installed trough OpenCore.

But I ask you: can I install Sonoma in this machine with OpenCore, and it will run fine with the hardware acceleration?

I think is the A1342 7,1 model with 13.3 inches screen.
