Successfully got Ventura working (at least for what I needed) on:
- i5 7600K, 16GB RAM
- ASUS H110M-E/M.2 (but I don't use M.2 slot at all)
- Intel HD Graphic 630 (iGPU. The main GPU for this hackintosh. Plug HDMI directly to motherboard. Check BIOS setup below)
- GTX 1660Super (Not being used for mac but not removed from the PC, I use this for windows)
- SATA SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120GB
- Behringer UMC202HD for audio
My usage is only for test, build and upload ios app from Flutter projects. So here are things that I know works:
- Hardware acceleration
- Ethernet
- Audio (at least for the Behringer)
- XCode 15.2 and the iPhone simulator
I'm using OpenCore version: 0.9.8 and following the Dortania's open core guide. At first I use the prebuilt SSDT and can run the mac installer. But I cannot boot to the installed mac. So I build the SSDT using SSDTTime and it works.
SMBIOS is iMac18,1.
Hardest part for me is the hardware acceleraction part. Here is my final GPU setup for my PC arrangement:
- On BIOS, enable Multi Monitor mode. This is needed to set the Primary GPU. You might need to save and restart to the BIOS again after enabling the Multi Monitor mode in order to see more options for the Primary GPU settings. Then set the Primary GPU to CPU Graphic
- On
config.plist set the AAPL,ig-platform-id to 00001259. I don't use the framebuffer patch. - Boot the PC with HDMI plugged in to the motherboard, not the 1660Super
This is my first hackintosh ever. I'm sorry if I use some terminology wrong. Please give me feedback for improvement or if I'm missing something. Thanks to all people involved making hackintosh like this possible :)
