So I'm looking for some input and or guidance. I have a iMac 27" Late 2013 with a 1 TB SSD drive. I'm currently running Ventura 13.6.3 using OpenCore Legacy Patcher version 1.2.1. I have been wanting to update to the latest version of Sonoma 14.3.1, however.... I'm not sure how stable it is currently on older macs such as mine and I have some vital apps that I can't afford to get glitchy on me which is Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher. Has anyone had success running this OS version and these apps? Also, what would be the best way to do the update if I decide to do so? I haven't updated my OpenCore Legacy Patcher to version 1.3.0 so I know I'll have to do that. I also know of the KDK update issue and if it is not updated right you get the black screen. What steps should I take to update OCP to 1.3.0, the KDK to 14.x and then OS to Sonoma? Should I be able to run the updates straight from the OS Software Updater after I update the OCP and KDK? Thanks for any guidance.
