I have a iMac 27" Late 2013 with a 1 TB SSD drive. I currently running Ventura 13.6.3 using OpenCore Legacy Patcher. I have been wanting to update to the latest version of Sonoma 14.3.1, however.... I'm not sure how stable it is currently on older macs such as mine and I have some vital apps that I can't afford to get glitchy on me which Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher. Has anyone had success running this OS version and these apps? The other question I have is what would the best way to do the update if I decide to do so? I haven't updated my OpenCore Legacy Patcher to version 1.3.0 so I know I'll have to do that. I also know of the KDK update issue and if it is not updated right you get the black screen. What steps should I take to update OCP to 1.3.0, the KDK to 14.x and then OS to Sonoma? Should I be able to run the updates straight from the OS Software Updater after I update the OCP and KDK? Thanks for any guidance.
