Hackintosh questions for newbie’s

Thanks to tasco11 I finally have Monterey working! But im new to it still, Monterey on an hp elitedesk 800 g1. First, in case anyone else gets stuck, you cannot use the vga output because it isn’t supported, which is never would have figured out lol. Anyways, I want to make a back up in case something goes wrong, so what is the best way to back up a hackintosh? Will clone zilla work? Will that allow me to clone the drive that I’m using or does it have to be from a different disk to copy it? Can I use regular Mac back up options? I wanna just make an emergency drive that I can just swap out in the event and it start I wanna just make an emergency drive that I can just swap out in the event it stops working, what is the best way to do that? Is there anything else that is different that I should know about with hackintosh as opposed to regular macs? Is target disc still a thing or has that been gone for a long time? I haven’t tried to use it in years, but I also don’t have a fire wire port anymore, so I’m guessing it doesn’t exist anymore. I asked that because that’s how I would normally back up and restore a disk.
