So, yesterday I managed to boot Big Sur with Nvidia Pascal, yes, again, i know it is not sonoma, but it is perfectly usable, and looks almost the same as the newest macOS. I got sick of High Sierra and new software being unable to run on it.
Everybody said that Chrome doesn't work, it works fine for me, only issue i've experienced is that youtube feed doesn't display videos right away, but when i search for something, works just fine. Safari and Edge work normally.
Viber also works, haven't tried wa.
Another issue is in settings, on checkboxes, when they are not selected, there is a square on the side of options, but when it is selected, checkbox disappears, but it works and you can use them aside from them being invisible when selected.
Preview app doesn't seem to display image when i open it, but when i open the same image in photos, it works.
So, there are small bugs, but nothing major and something that will ruin your ux. I assume everyone here is running dual boot, so if you really need something that this cannot do, just boot into windows and problem solved. Until then, enjoy ui and ux that macos gives you.
Again, only thing that helped me was oclp. I tried Ventura, Monterey, Sonoma, only Big Sur booted with drivers apart from High Sierra.
Just follow the steps for patching and enjoy.
