Hey all,
First off, I’m a super noob to opencore and this process……even macs in general. I want to learn and play around though. If anyone can help, that would be awesome.
I have an XServe 2,1 trying to use the opencore legacy patcher to put Monterey on my server. I build the usb per instructions on another macbook pro, boot the xserve and select efi boot, it ends uo in a recovery boot and I can never get the server to boot off the internal hdd the OS is supposedly being installed on. I’m lost and don’t know what questions to ask and what info to give. I’ll answer or get any info I need to if someone can help me figure it out.
Just fyi, I don’t fully understand the opencore lingo on editing config.plist and etc. I’m not even sure when I’m supposed to do it. I have a WD 1TB drive I’m loading to OS on. Thank you all in advance.
