-Motherboard: 10 year old Asus Q87M-E -CPU: i5 4670k (I planned on buying the i7 4790k but I'm broke :c ) -GPU: Intel HD4600 with a fixed size of 128Mb in BIOS (I have a GTX 1060 so I had to use the iGPU cuz y'know... last supported version is High Sierra. So I disabled it with the boot flag -wegnoegpu). I patched the GPU with OCLP and so far I haven't encountered any errors... -SSD: SATA WD Blue SA510 and WD green Caviar 1TB (tho I don't use it except for games...) -RAM: 12GB 2x4 1600mhz 2x2 1333mhz DDR3 (I have this config since I'm broke and I had to scavenge an old PC I had...) -Internet: Intel AC7266 with built in Bluetooth. I installed the latest alpha airportitlwm kext for Sonoma and the bluetooth kexts patches for post Monterey and all that stuff... WiFi working nicely and I'm listening to music right now with my Bluetooth earbuds and sound working nicely too.. Audio: Realtek ALC887 (though... I have to say that in the process of installing Mackintosh in the past 3 days I was moving my WifI card and when I was putting it back I hit a capacitor with the metal of the PCIE bracket and it Stopped working :"C it's so sad but I guess that stuff happens... and it's even worse because my purpose to install MacOS was to use GarageBand since it's not on Windows... and use my guitar to practice... and now it's broken :"C I guess I'll buy an audio interface to fix the problem...). Also... HDMI Audio is not working, I guess it's because I didn't set the framebuffers in the config.plist but I'm not sure... OpenCore: 0.9.6. I used this EFI: https://github.com/Nishit-Chauhan/Sonoma-Hackintosh-Haswell-EFI and all I had to configure was map my USB ports and install the WiFi and Bluetooth kexts... This is my first post so If I did anything wrong lemme know. Happy hackintoshing :D [link] [comments] |
