I have an early 2015, Retina MacBook Pro, 13-inch. I installed the latest OCLP release (1.3) and got Sonoma running without any problem. That is until a day later when this weird graphical glitch started happening. Sometimes it doesn't appear. Other times it is there right from the moment I start the laptop. And still other times it'll gradually appear as I use the laptop. The size of the glitch on the screen seems to change. Sometimes it is very close to the edges of the screen, and other times somewhat distant. And the shape of the glitch sometimes changes. Basically the edges of the screen keep the correct tone/hue, but the majority of the screen has that strange off tint/hue. I originally did a screenshot to share here, but it showed the screen as it should be with the correct colors. So these are snapshots taken with my iPhone. Otherwise, Sonoma runs flawlessly, and unexpectedly about as fast, sometimes faster depending on the app, than my native M1 Mac mini. I don't need to keep the USB thumb drive plugged in. OCLP worked without a flaw. MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015 (12,0) Processor: 2.7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core I5 Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB Memory: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 Storage: 250.79 GB MacOS: Sonoma 14.3.1 I don't know precisely what I'm looking for, and tried hunting for another post that showed a similar issue. So here is my post (I apologize if this is something common that I missed in my search). [link] [comments] |
