I have an 11 inch early 2014 macbook air with a 1.4ghz dual core i5 and recently upgraded the ram to 8 gb plus replacing the battery. I tried installing Sonoma via OcLP and suddenly the mac feels sluggish after using 2-3 browser tabs so I decided to roll back down to Monterey. The high fan running persists and after a couple of reinstalling, there seems to be no fix. Should I dust downgrade it to Big Sur which is natively supported and use as it is or is there any other fix.
