So I upgraded the RAM to 32GB total and got a 2 TB SSD. Won't do the MXM3 graphics card upgrade for economic reasons and lack of skills / confidence (I was an idiot not knowing about this part of it all before beginning with the other upgrades).
Will my Mac do relatively easy computing like in-browser stuff, crypto wallets, Excel-like programs etc. even without the graphic card upgrade, or should I just be honest to myself finally and spend 3 k on a decent new Mac?
