- What guide/tool followed: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/
- What part I got an issue with: i can boot using opencore and get through all the verbose after about 15 minuites, and boot into the mac os installer, but the target nvme drive does not show up ever. im trying to install to a freshly formatted new nvme ssd drive that has been set up with guid partition table and formatted to apfs but it doesnt show up in disk manager or on the "where do you want to install mac to?" screen
- What files/config I am using: https://github.com/jmuir5/hackintoshEFI
- config.plst: https://github.com/jmuir5/hackintoshEFI/blob/main/EFI/OC/config.plist
- Extra Info: i followed the dorotania guide completely, though i used prebuilt ssdt's. my best guess is that i've made some kind of error in the config.plst but im able to go though to boot into the installer so im unsure.specifically i was unsure about this section https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config-laptop.plist/kaby-lake.html#acpi as it didnt match up 100% with what i had but it seems okay?i have tried using NvmExpressDxi.efi and NVMeFix.kext but neither resolved the issue.
i have an nvme to sata adapter and have tried with the ssd connected in the sata bay as well as connected externally to usb and the drive has never shown up. ive also tried running the installer with a different nvme ssd connected (main windows install) and that also has not shown up in either menu.
i would really appreciate any help that can be offered, i am unsure of where to go or what to do next
