Hi, I am new to the whole hackintosh idea, and i am doing this to replace my old MacBook pro (2019) as i don't really use a lot and don't want to have to remember to plug it in every once in a while.
Anyways, I have followed this tutorial ( How to Install macOS Sonoma on any PC Step by Step: Opencore Hackintosh (youtube.com) ) on how to create a bootable USB to install macOS Sonoma onto my machine and for a minute it seems like all is going well. Then video output just stops and the monitor goes into its own powersave mode.
I followed the video exactly and as it is my 10th attempt to get macOS running, it has gotten me the farthest so far but i just need a little help getting across the finish line. I have consulted this link ( WhateverGreen/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md at master · acidanthera/WhateverGreen · GitHub ) on what to do for the black screen but since the video i am following uses neither OpenCore or Clover, i am at a loss on how to proceed.
If it helps, the specs on my machine are an Core i5 10400 w/ UHD630 graphics, 16GB RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD.
Any thoughts on what might be causing this and how to fix it is really appreciated.
