So I bought 2x 8 GB RAM sticks, but to my disappointment, the motherboard was not working and I couldn't find any good new motherboards for first gen Intel Core i3. I did find a second hand Intel Core i5 3470 and a decent motherboard from Ant Esports which I promptly bought and I also threw in an Asus AMD Radeon RX 550. It took me almost a year of working on it to get all the issues sorted and having a hardware acceleration, but here I am now! I haven't yet tried signing in with Apple ID, but will try later. Also, It's saying Video Acceleration unavailable in VideoProc Converter even though I have done the configuration according to this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xb5yKRhOtp0 I am still running through the post install process and have to set up/fix power management etc. [link] [comments] |
