Mac Pro 5,1 Bluetooth+Wifi Upgrade Gone Wrong!

Mac Pro 5,1 Bluetooth+Wifi Upgrade Gone Wrong!

Hey guys, hoping for some help here!

I have an old 2010 Mac Pro tower that I use for a full time music production workload. I have added some upgrades to it over the years and recently decided to use OpenCore Legacy Patcher to get it working on Monterey 12.7.3. When I did this though, the old bluetooth card stopped working. I did some research and heard others had success using the Bluetooth+Wifi upgrade kit (pictured). I bought it and went through the install process (those Locktite screws were the death of me).

When I put the computer back together and powered it up. Not only did Bluetooth not work, but my Wifi was no longer working either. The System Report showed the bluetooth device as NULL and Non-discoverable. I did more research and went down a rabbit hole involving Kext files and EFI partitions and that seemed way out of my knowledge zone and seemed rather risky.

Is there something else I should've done? Is there a different Bluetooth+Wifi solution that is truly plug and play with my setup?

I unfortunately damaged the old wifi card trying to remove the screws so I'm in a bit of limbo right now.
