I have tried a few different methods to install an OS on my Mac Pro 3,1. First I tried an El Capitan install from USB that should be natively supported. Then I tried a Monterey USB with OCLP and also tried putting the Monterey installer directly on an internal drive. With all of these methods, I can get to the Startup Manager but when I select to boot the installer, it shows a white screen and nothing else.
The GPU that came in the machine is a GeForce 7300 GT (P/N 08G17010880). I could not really tell if this GPU was supported, but it seems like that should not affect its ability to boot El Cap.
