I installed Ventura on a 2013 iMac. Question about CPU usage + quick question about startup behaviour.

Hello, I've recently installed Ventura on my 2013 imac using open core patcher. I use my mac mostly to work with music, sound design and on post production. I also have a 2021 macbook pro and I wanted the two machines to be set the same to be able to move projects between them without any issue. It took me helf a day but I ended up managing to install everything and overall the result seems ok, I just have 2 questions:

1 - I'm still testing things out, but I'm under the impression that some operations are now making the CPU busier than they used to when I was on Catalina. I still haven't had any significant problem, but I'm noticing that I always have at least 2 cores getting way busier than they used to when working with modular environments (this is, if menumeters readings are still trust-worthy, but it also sounds like the computer is getting busier more easily).

I hope this is a correct way of phrasing my question: is there a way to verify if the OS is using the CPU the appropriate way or if the installation might have caused any problem? This might end up not being a significant problem but I'm allarmed by the fact that I'm reaching cpu percentages read-outs that are over 50% in relatively basic set ups. I also think this might depend on the softwares I'm using, but I'm still not 100% sure of it. (I'm kind of what's going to happen once I've installed Unreal Engine on this computer!)

2 - this is a minor issue to say the least. On startup, the computer keeps asking for my username. it is really not a problem, I'm just wondering if there is a way to set it the way it always worked; I never had to input my username, it would just show me the active users on my computer.

Just for reference, here are the details of the computer: imac 27", Late 2013. Processor: 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4 GB Memory: 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 MacOS: 13.6.4 (22G513)
