How can I learn about building EFI?

I am an absolute beginner and don't know anything about efi and other things needed for installing a stable hackintosh for my system.

can you guys please help me and tell me the procedure of resources where i can learn about building efi and whatever else is needed to build efi and install hackintosh on an amd based laptop.
