So I have this machine running High Sierra and it has a generic PC AMD RX 480 card. The card is great and works awesome natively in macos and of course it works great in windows for gaming.
HOWEVER the one thing it doesn't do it let me do native GPU video encoding in Handbrake. Is there a way to enable this? I have a real Mac mini with integrated graphics and that GPU is shit, yet it can do GPU video encoding at some insane framerate compared to this much more powerful tower. I imagine if I can get GPU working on the RX 480, it might do something really crazy like 1000 fps.
