So I successfully installed a hackintosh in my Coffee Lake laptop, but it has a battery issues and what not, so I am thinking of using my alder lake laptop as main machine with mac os replacing my arch linux (I know it's strange to go from foss to css but I have some programming tasks that require being on mac os), My alder lake laptop specs:
Hp Victus 15.6" i7 12750H 32 GB RAM Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti
My concern, since 12th gen is "not directly supported" as I read on other posts and that iGpu won't work out of the box - Will my dGPU work since it's nvidia not amd? - Will I have any sort of performance degradation as compared to coffee lake? - If my dGPU works, I suppose I will be able to connect external monitor through HDMI, right?
I am not planning to have two different laptops to use, I want to stick with one only with only one OS, no dual booting.
Side note: Please don't tell me why moving from arch + qtile to closed source systems, I have my work reasons 😂😂
