So a year ago I updated my parents 2015 MacBook Air to Ventura via OpenCore. I initially did this because I wanted to make sure they were on the latest version for security reasons and they didn’t have any plans for upgrading any time soon.
Fast forward to today, the charger was broken for a while (finally got a used replacement) and also my parents have finally started deciding to get a new Mac anyway.
Could I use migration assistant with OpenCore to a newer machine (and to an Apple Silicon Mac) or should I downgrade to Monterey…. If I can without losing data, and if so how?
