disk2: media not present

Hey there, third day of Ventura. Worked great yesterday, however, while booting today (note that the install is on an external ssd and that i haven't modified the efi during this period if time) I get "disk2: media not present" in the verbose, and after a couple of minutes the computer just reboots in windows. Not an hardware problem 99% as the drive shows up perfectly in the disk utility from recovery. Also not the first time it happens, last time I managed to fix by using the voodoops2 kexts that I also needed for my trackpoint and keyboard to work. Any ideas on what should I try? Will attach the EFI if necessary. I have an HP EliteBook 840 G6 (i5 8265U, 16gb ram, Intel UHD 620, 250gb SATA SSD Crucial).
