Broadwell with Sonoma.

Broadwell with Sonoma.

From being a total noob in this type of stuff to successfully hackintoshing a laptop. I actually did Monterey first but decided to go to Sonoma, which was a little bit more tedious but it's fine, and working perfectly.

My laptop is the HP EliteBook 840 G2 with i5 5300u and Intel 5500HD. The Wi-Fi card is Intel 7265 (* I think, not sure as I did the hackintosh a while back). The audio codec was Intel Broadwell HDMI (Had to patch it with HPET/IRQ patches). Ethernet is Intel l218-LM and the bluetooth card I forgot.

Pretty much everything is working properly - Wi-Fi, bluetooth, audio, sleep, no CMOS checksum error, ethernet and I don't even know what else. It's just weird having nothing to fix.. We'll see when there is a new update of Sonoma.

Honestly nothing groundbreaking imo if u can read the OpenCore guide. If something doesn't work just go back and try it again. Good luck.
