Big sur vs oclp monterrey in a 2014 mbp

Hello

I have a MBP 2014 with 16Gb. Until yesterday I was running Mojave but I have just upgraded to Big Sur mainly because of safari (loads of webp image problems).

Too early to say if the change is for good but now I am considering the option to upgrade to Monterrey via OCLP since apparently Monterrery feels snappier and it is not that CPU hogger (is it really?)

In that case, some questions about OCLP.

1) Is it possible to revert the process and going back to the same point as now? Easily? Safely?

2) How reliable is this unsupported Monterrey on a MBP2014? What kind of problems can I have?

3) Do you recommend it? Supported Big Sur vs OCLP Monterrey?

4) Do I have to clean install or can i keep my applications and data?

Thanks a lot!!
