 | Okay so this is for those who have Dell laptop hackintoshes particularly with ALC256 (ALC3246) ComboJack version, after months of trial and error I found only layout-id 56 to be working flawlessly combined with ComboJack module i.e it automatically switches to Line-in microphone on inserting the headset and switches back to Internal Microphone upon ejecting the headset. I'm using this on macOS Ventura 13.6.4 with OpenCore 0.9.8 & AppleALC 1.8.9 and it works flawlessly. I'm posting this because I have spent a lot of days in searching for stable layout-id.
