Hi, I come from the linux world, and have a server w/ proxmox running, with a hackintosh VM. New to hackintosh and kexts and all that. I'm trying to get this up and running but audio over HDMI isn't working.
System: I am running Big Sur, as I believe it still supports Kepler GPUs. I passed through a Quadro K5000 to the VM. I used this script to set it up: https://github.com/luchina-gabriel/OSX-PROXMOX
I have the display outputting, GPU shows up in the system. However I have no audio over HDMI. The physical connection is: DP to HDMI adapter from K5000 -> HDMI -> TV.
When I passthrough the GPU to any other VM (linux/windows/etc.) in an identical fashion, I get audio output. For the Big Sur VM, audio does not show up as an output option. Only NoMachine audio out. The MIDI setup didn't show anything either.
Any advice on what I should be trying to get this working? Thanks!
