 | So im trying to install ventura or sonoma on my Hp notebook 15-dyxxx , I got it to boot and have the regular issues as anyone can have. Video, audio,trackpad. But the wifi was giving me a headache . The laptop came with a realtek rtl8821 which is no good, so I tried to swap it with an intel card, got me 3 different ones, ac 7260, ac8265 an ax2000, and non of them worked. I also notice they did not worked on windows. But testing the cards on another laptop and they work just fine. So its not the cards fault. After inspecting them visually. I saw that the rt8821 only has one antenna while the intel's have two. Also the rt has less golden tracks fiscally than the intel's. So its definitely a hardware issue that leads me to think this laptop only will take one antena cards. So my question is, does anyone know of a one antenna intel compatible card for my laptop? Or other brand that would work with sonoma. I really don't have the need for fancy features , I'm only aiming for regular wifi use without an external dongle as the laptop only has 2 USB ports, so i don't want to take one of them for wifi.
