14.4 notice

I don't usually post here, but I'd like to give some advice based on my experience. I have been really enthusiastic about betas, of both macOS and Windows, for one year and a half. I started macOS beta testing shortly after the announcement of Sonoma last June. No problem until a few days ago, when I decided to update to macOS Sonoma 14.4. Differently from before, I encounter a roadblock while installing the update, solved by setting Misc > Security > SecureBootModel to Disabled (thanks to u/JohnLietzke for suggesting this). After going through the first phase of the installer, I noticed a bootloop caused by kernel panics on the 2nd phase. So I tried booting with various kext combinations; the first one that worked was booting without NootedRed, AirportItlwm and Intel BT kexts. Trying to add even one of these would result in a kernel panic and the system would not boot. So I tried to learn more about this by checking the respective GitHub repos, and in the issues of ALL the repositories was mentioned the fact that the kexts were broken or didn't function at all. I lost nothing as I did it just for fun and didn't copy any data to the partition, but if you don't want to trash your installs, don't update to 14.4. Obviously this applies if you have a Vega iGPU and/or Intel Wireless.
