Friends,
As I inch my way towards a solid build that I had started to document here, I am at my wits end to get my rig to sleep.
Immediate wake on sleep.
pmset -g log | grep -e "Sleep.*due to" -e "Wake.*due to":
returns
DarkWake from Normal Sleep [CDN] : due to XDCI CNVW/ Using AC (Charge:0%) 45 secs
Scouring of posts, I have done the following troubleshooting:
- USB ports are mapped.
- Per the guide, SSDT-GPRW is installed.
- Fendi T919? Took the card out and unplugged USB to no avail.
- This post talks about the CPU Cooler - I have a Corsair h80 but it is not plugged in to an USB header.
- While at it, I have unplugged all USB devices except mouse and tried sleeping to no avail.
- In this post someone mentions turning on XMP profile, which mine was still off, but that did not help
- Wake on Lan - is brought up often. I don't have a specific setting in BIOS. Settings/Platform Power/Platform Power Management is Disabled, and I tried disabling ErP but to no avail. (I've turned that back on because we want it enabled to turn off USB power when shutoff. (I think?)
- In this post, the issue was solved by changing Fenvi cards - I swapped Fenvi cards with my [z390 9900K] rig but with same results. The z390 sleeps perfectly. Comparing EFI's of both machines, they both have the SSDT_GPRW. The z390 (EFI based off of a Github repo for the Designare) had SSDT_No_CNVW. Wondering if that was relevant but I think that SSDT is for disabling the Intel wifi module - which, this Z490 rig does not have as I pulled it out trying to troubleshoot Bluetooth.
Can anyone point me in another direction?
What is CNVW? What else can I try?
Thanks in advance
