Thoughts for upgrading from Mojave to Monterey/Ventura on MBP 2011

Hi everyone!

I bought this MBP 2011 running Mojave last Dec 2023. I wasn't expecting this to by my daily laptop but surprisingly it works smoothly. I'm planning to upgrade the RAM to 16GB and possibly update it to either Monterey or Ventura or even Sonoma. Should I upgrade the RAM before doing so?
