Stuck on Apple Logo Screen with mouse cursor - Sonoma

imac14,2 with OpenCore Legacy and macOS 14.1.2 (23B92) on a external thunderbolt 1 drive. The loading bar is filled to ~40%, i can move the cursor and i can even ssh into the machine but the login screen never seems to display.

The computer has been working correctly for half a year but yesterday I tried to install Windows 11 & Bootcamp on another external thunderbolt 1 drive. I tried the "DISM Deployment Method" but the process failed in the bcdboot step and i gave up.

Today, i was working just fine when i noticed the gpu acceleration wasn't working correctly (genie effect very slow, no transparency) so i tried to rerun root patch on the boot disk (it rebooted and it still was working) and post-installation. After post-installation reboot, the computer is stuck.

I tried to enter in the Sonoma Recovery Mode but it doesn't work (High Sierras' does, on the interna hard drive) and I have noticed that when I run the ps command in the ssh session, the process hangs.

I think it's a problem with drivers and/or gui server but i don't know how diagnose so I thought I'd ask in this subreddit.
