Root patch fail

I’m so close… but so far. I have iMac 16,2 4k 21.5inch late 2015 3.3GHz quad core intel i7 with intel iris pro 6200 graphics. Just used OpenCore legacy patcher to install Sonoma 14.2.1. For some reason, I’m hung up here. Installing these patches gives me the login screen that dips to black and won’t let me enter password. I’ve tried booting into safe mode, reverting the patches, restarting, then adding the patches, and restarting again. No go. I did use migration assistant during setup. Any ideas? Thank you.
