First of all, thanks for all you do. Because of y'all, I can run the latest mac os sonoma on a 2014 macbook air I acquired recently.
Quick question, and to solidify my argument on software support for M1. Will patching be possible on Apple Silicon? I know on iOS it's not and it's a completely different architecture.
So, has anyone looked into it yet when the time comes in 2026-2028 when M1 dies, will patching be possible? Or is it not going to be possible with Apple Silicon?
Thanks again for all you do!
TLDR: will patching unsupported OSes be supported on Apple Silicon when the time comes based on what we know now about the architecture?
