Hey all, so I'm new to OCLP (using an older macbook for a project, my normal personal Mac is an M1 Pro so it gets updates and etc.)
I ran into some very strange issues and I can't seem to fix them. I did a clean install and although those issues went away, some new issues appeared. I'll list them below:
Device Info: MacBookPro13,2 - OS via OCLP is Sonoma (Latest Stable Ver.)
1st Install:
- Noticed after a day of using Sonoma via OCLP with no issues that my Apple ID prompt in System Settings said I had to re-login to my Apple ID. However, when I would attempt to relogin, the System Settings app would freeze and I'd have to force close it. The red X in the top-left corner would go blank so I wasn't able to close it traditionally and right-clicking the item on the dock to close it didn't work.
- Microsoft Services that were working fine the day before all stopped working: OneDrive, Office Suite, Edge Browser - they all said I was not logged in or syncing and when I would go to log in, I'd get stuck in a login loop. (Enter Email, Enter Pass, Authenticate, White Screen, Back to Enter Email.. and then over and over and over. Hard to tell if this one is MS or OCLP, but I didn't have the issue on any other devices (both Windows and macOS) so it's hard to pinpoint the problem.)
After noticing these issues, I went with the reinstall option; start fresh.
2nd Install:
- Device is running way slower than usual (including the last day of usage where I wasn't having issues on the first install.)
- Immediately, System Settings said "Some iCloud Data Isn't Syncing". When I select that error and choose "Resume Data Sync", it asks me to enter my MacBook user account password. After doing so and clicking "Continue", nothing happens.
Any help is appreciated! I mostly only used OCLP to upgrade so I could access things like Apple Configurator.
