I've had my mac mini for almost a month now. It's my first time using a mac that i actually own and the problem i had was that many apps were no longer supported on catalina and that was an issue for me so i downloaded OCLP and downloaded the MACOS Ventura installer. It went pretty smooth during the pre-installation. It did freeze once but that was not an issue. I continued on with the risk of doing no backup and everything from there went smooth until i got to a stand-still where Mac Os would just continue saying Mac Os Ventura unable to be verified i had to restart a few times and it finally worked and i got into the set up screen. It was very laggy duing set up but once i was in i realised i made the mistake of deleting opencore before erasing my hdd. It was not an issue though as all i did was re-download OCLP from google chrome and install root patches from there. After that my mac began to run smoothly and now i am very happy with my mac. A few things to point out: I have a Mac Mini 6,1 8GB Ram 500GB HDD (90GB allocated to bootcamp) and all around it had taken around 5-6 hours and even after upgrading my bootcamp still worked like normal. I won't think that this will help anyone at all but i post this anyway to just show that OCLP can be glitchy but the end result will be perfect. Thanks OCLP team!
