Lost admin privileges when upgrading from Big Sur to Sonoma

Hi,

Today I succesfully (or almost) upgraded to Sonoma from Big Sur on my Ryzentosh. The installation worked fine, everything seems to be working in Sonoma (except WiFi but I still need to work on that), however, weirdly enough my account was changed to Standard with no existing Admin user!

I have no idea why this happened but it's quite bad because I'm unable to make any changes nor add any other account. For almost everything I wanna do it asks me for admin credentials but there is no user I can use. (Using my former user credentials doesn't work as it's not an admin user anymore).

I found some methods of solving this issue which involve going into single user mode or recovery but both of those modes don't seem to not work for me... I tried with the boot arg -s and with activating the PollAppleHotkeys in my config.plist file but when booting in -s I see verbose for 1 seconds and then the computer restarts directly. It looks like single user mode crashes for me and reboots straight away.

I'm really at a loss now, I've tried everything for the past 4-5 hours. And this after the install went so smoothly...

Does anyone have an idea of how to recover my admin privileges or at least, how to even access single user mode?
