Introduction: Welcome to the world of Hackintosh! If you're facing issues with your Asus VivoBook X509FJ, this guide will help you troubleshoot and optimize your system step by step.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of Hackintosh concepts
  • OpenCore EFI folder provided by Olarila

Step 1: Trackpad Issue:

  1. Verify that the VoodooI2C kext is correctly configured in your EFI folder.
  2. Check if there are any conflicts or issues with other kexts affecting input devices.
  3. Experiment with different VoodooI2C settings and configurations.

Step 2: HDMI Problem:

  1. Confirm that the HDMI port is connected to the Intel UHD 620 graphics.
  2. Review your config.plist and make sure that device properties for the Intel graphics are set correctly.
  3. If you've used the guide from YouTube, consider checking for any additional instructions or updates.
  4. Experiment with different ig-platform-id settings for your UHD 620.

Step 3: Audio Inconsistency:

  1. Evaluate the AppleALC kext settings in your config.plist.
  2. Consider switching to alternative audio solutions like VoodooHDA or other recommended options.
  3. Verify that layout-id is correctly configured for Realtek ALC256 in your config.plist.

Step 4: Cursor Teleportation Issue:

  1. Check VoodooI2C settings and configurations.
  2. Look into adjusting sensitivity and acceleration settings in the Trackpad section of the config.plist.
  3. Experiment with different VoodooI2C versions and configurations.

Step 5: Miscellaneous Optimization:

  1. Ensure that your ACPI patches and SSDTs are correctly configured.
  2. Review your config.plist for unnecessary or conflicting settings.
  3. Check for the latest kext updates and replace them if needed.
  4. Confirm that your BIOS settings align with recommended configurations.

Step 6: Testing and Documentation:

  1. Make incremental changes and test after each modification.
  2. Keep a record of changes made to your EFI folder and config.plist.
  3. Document any error messages or issues encountered during testing.

Step 7: Community Support:

  1. If issues persist, seek assistance from the Hackintosh community.
  2. Share detailed information about your hardware, EFI folder, and the steps you've taken.

Conclusion: By following these steps, you can address and potentially resolve the issues with your Asus VivoBook X509FJ Hackintosh. Remember to test and document changes, and don't hesitate to seek help from the community. Happy Hackintoshing!

I have some problems in my new Hackintosh I'm new so pls be gentle with me (full specs and problems in description with EFI folder download) thanks for everyone that can help

Specs: i5 8625u, IGPU: intel graphics uhd 620, 12gb of ram, Realtek rtl8821CE wifi and bluetooth card (switching to ax210 soon), Realtek ALC256 audio card, my laptop model: Asus vivobook x509fj. ps2 trackpad and keyboard

eft folder: https://www.mediafire.com/file/nursupnfbk30kq8/EFI.zip/file

problems:
1) my trackpad suddenly stop working for couple min and suddenly comes back.
2) the biggest one: my HDMI doesn't work and every fix I tried just make my laptop not boot to Mac OS and being stuck at the console. (and I have another gpu in my system the Gefoerce mx230 but I checked in the Nvidia control panel in windows and I saw that the hdmi is connected to the igpu (intel graphics 620) and not the mx230)
3) my audio works but not consistent, I heard that I need to remove the AppleALC kext and switch to something else.

4) every time that I tried to drag something with my trackpad my cursor just teleport randomly across the screen, I don't know how to explain it in words but just imagined that when I hold the trackpad the trackpad becomes like a graphic tablet, for example if I hold a file and I hold my trackpad when doing so, and then I move my finger to the far right top of the trackpad the file just teleports to the far right top side of the monitor. (I hope I explained it well enough)

**and once again I'm new to Hackintosh**

but in conclusion the biggest problem that I need help with is the hdmi problem I think I have some clue what's happening I dig in the config file using the openCore configurator and found that for some reason my gpu is some kind of intel iris plus or something like that and not intel graphics I assume it can cause a problem but I didn't figure out how to fix it. and the other thing every time that I tried to change in device properties the setting for my igpu to the settings that the guide on YouTube wants me to change my pc won't boot to Mac OS and I was needed to bring back the old config for the pc to boot again
