I recently was able to hackintosh my Razer Blade 14 from 2017. The laptop has a 1060 (which i do not have disabled since then i dont have display out), and also has an kaby lake igpu which i use currently. It has a usb-c thunderbolt 3 port, which i currently use as my display out to my ultrawide monitor with an hdmi to usb-c cable. I bought a Thunderbolt to display port cable, but when i connect it i never actually get a stable image, it just jumps around as if it were trying to recognize it. With an HDMI to usb-c cable it works fine, but i cannot use above 50hz and i would like to take advantage of my full 165hz monitor.
How can i solve that issue? Did i screw up by not scanning the ports of my laptop propperly before installing macos and doing that post install?
what i have tried:
- Adding adding the DP and HDMI thing in the Device Properties which has not yet worked.
- Also increasing the memory from 32 to 64 as the step above it says.
