Garbled Screen

My surface laptop 3 i5-1035G7 has weird screen flickering as seen in the video ‘Installing Mac OS on a Microsoft Laptop’ from MattKC.

I used the fix on WhateverGreen for the garbled display and for the first boot, the screen is perfect.

However, upon reboot the issue returns despite having the boot-args unchanged.

Please could someone help me with this? I’m not sure what’s causing it - I’ve tried editing the PCI part as well as using the boot argument but both have the same result of only working for one boot.
