 | Hey everyone. First time hackintosher here. I've been watching a video to help me get through the first steps of installing and flashing the thumb drive and generating the unique serial number. I am at the stage of generating the SMBIOS serial number, but encountered an error. From the video, if I understood it properly, it said you could type in any mac model that can currently run MacOS Sonoma. Since I am using a custom desktop, I figured I would generate a serial number for the 2023 Mac Pro since it's the closest thing. Here is the model I'm trying to generate: The model identifier is Mac14,8. This is what I have been typing into the cmd prompt, but it keeps giving me this error: So my question is, does this system only generate SN's for specific mac models?
