Fixing Boot Issues in OpenCore for Mojave on Mac Pro 5,1.

It seems like you're experiencing a boot issue with your Hackintosh setup on a Mac Pro 5,1. To configure OpenCore to allow you to boot into your supported Mojave OS on the NVMe SSD, follow these steps:

Guide:

1. Access OpenCore Configuration**: Make sure you have OpenCore's configuration tool handy, either on a USB drive or installed on your system.

2. Boot into OpenCore**: Restart your Mac Pro and boot into the OpenCore boot menu.

3. Select Mojave**: When the boot menu appears, select your Mojave OS drive. If you're getting a prohibited icon, you may need to adjust some settings.

4. Check Your EFI Configuration**:
   - Boot into OpenCore's configuration tool.
   - Review your config.plist file.
   - Ensure that your NVRAM settings are configured correctly, including boot entries.

5. Fix NVRAM**: If your NVRAM settings are incorrect, you can use OpenCore's configuration tool to add or edit entries. Make sure your Mojave OS entry points to the correct device and partition.

6. Check Kexts and Drivers**: Ensure that your kexts and drivers are compatible and up to date for Mojave. Some issues can arise from outdated or incompatible kexts.

7. Verify Disk**: Use macOS Disk Utility to verify and repair your Mojave NVMe SSD. This ensures that there are no file system errors causing boot problems.

8. Reset NVRAM**: In some cases, resetting the NVRAM (PRAM) can resolve boot issues. Boot into OpenCore, then navigate to tools and select "Reset NVRAM."

9. Debug Mode**: If you're still having issues, enable OpenCore's debug mode to get more detailed information about the boot process. This can help identify specific problems.

10. Consult OpenCore Documentation**: Refer to OpenCore's official documentation for troubleshooting tips and specific configuration settings for your hardware.

11. Community Forums**: Seek help from the Hackintosh community forums for your specific hardware configuration. They may have encountered similar issues and can provide guidance.

12. Backup Your Data**: Before making significant changes, ensure you have a backup of your important data.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the boot issue and successfully boot into your supported Mojave OS on your Mac Pro 5,1 using the OpenCore boot picker.

Can't boot to my supported Mojave OS drive through OpenCore Boot picker

I have a Mac pro 5,1 that runs Mojave on an nvme SSD through PCIe with a pc rx580 (so no apple boot picker) . I installed opencore bootloader on an SSD on one of the 3.5 bays. I installed it correctly and it works perfectly, but I have a slight issue. When the opencore menu comes up when I turn on the computer, the different discs show and I can choose which to boot in but if I select my Mojave os on the nvme SSD it won't boot, only a prohibited icon 🚫 shows and then turns off. It works with other OSs, I tried booting through that menu to a usb carrying Linux and it worked. How can I do so the opencore boot picker lets me choose my Mojave os?
