This is an appreciation post. Hopefully, the coders/developers to this app are reading. But seriously THANK YOU for this program. When I purchased a maxed out (spec'd out) 2016 Macbook Pro, I had assumed Apple would support it for at least 10 years. I have a strong tradition of using my Apple products for 10+ years before getting the next model (iPhone, iPod, Macbook Pro, AppleTV, etc). This way the upgrades feel like a true upgrade. I love witnessing how technology improves between models (I'm a 90's dial-up kid). So, I was shocked to find that Apple stopped allowing software upgrades for my Macbook Pro a few years back. Other than a few hiccups with OCLP and learning my lesson to ALWAYS have a TimeMachine backup along with a USB copy of my native OsX, this software has worked flawlessly. Also my MacBook Pro 2016 is running OsX Sonoma Beta 14.2 without issue! Attaching screenshots of what I click to modify OCLP to feel like a native machine. I reset the Boot Picker Timeout to "0" and uncheck Show OpenCore BootPicker along with checking Disable CPUFriend (improves performance). To the newbies: A lesson I learned also is that once you select these settings, you HAVE TO then Build and Install OpenCore, then reboot for settings to apply. Trust the process and know that upon reboot OCLP won't "save" these settings in the app, meaning your computer is correct per the settings you selected, but the app always defaults to 5 seconds, checked on Show OpenCoreBoot Picker and Disable CPUFriend being unchecked.
