I have an older Mac mini 4,1 running high Sierra (it's highest supported version). I'm not super interested in upgrading it, but I am interested in testing out a newer macos in a virtual machine on another computer. I'm looking for a way to download a legitimate Apple installer for a newer version of macOS. But my old Mac mini won't allow me to download the installer for Ventura or Sonoma for example, because the hardware I'm on doesn't support it.
Could I use OCLP to download the installer for use on a different (non Apple) computer running a virtual machine?
Basically I guess I'm just looking for a way to spoof the Apple store to allow me to download the installer.
