new to macOS, should I update?

hi! I'm new to apple products in general. I own a MacBook pro 13" 2015. sonoma is already installed using OCLP when i bought this last month.

now, this notif keeps on popping up every time i open my device. is it safe to download and install? will this device works fine if i do? thanks! I'm rlly confused ahaha any input will be appreciated :)) i also want to learn more about mac OS anyways so if u have some tips and whatnots, just comment below haha.
