HELP-A-N00B: How to handle OSX updates when running OCLP?

Currently running Sonoma on a mid-2010 MBP. Works pretty well!

I'm getting Apple update notices for Sonoma v 14.1.2.

Do I just download and install the update from Apple? Does OCLP have to do something first?
